Project Managers with DLTS are responsible for the administration and execution of assigned projects in a safe, profitable and timely manner with a focus on client satisfaction. Preferred candidates will have proven experience Project Managing in one or multiple categories listed below on Hard Bid, Design Build, and CMAR projects: Low voltage Voice and Data cabling Fiber optic installations and maintenance Data Center installations and maintenance Outside plant cabling BICSI compliant design & standards Adds, Moves and Changes Audio/Video systems design and installation Paging system design and installation Security, CCTV, Access Control systems and cabling Please reach out to us if you’re looking for a challenging, long term career with a well-established yet growing specialty contractor. If having a great impact on your workplace, its processes, its people, and its culture is of interest you, we want to hear from you RESPONSIBILITIES Has overall responsibility for project success, including safety, schedule, profitability, quality and customer satisfaction Participates in the business development process including client contact, relationships, proposals, presentations, and negotiations Administers contract terms and conditions, contract documents, subcontract agreements, purchase order agreements, insurance, etc. Participates in preparation of reviews and estimates Champions the transition of projects from estimating phase to operations Coordinates with project superintendent means and methods for profitable execution Reviews and executes all change orders, supplements, and cost control budget adjustments Provides feedback to estimators for use in future bidding or negotiations, with emphasis on subcontractor performance evaluations Participates in activities to support the company’s strategic planning efforts QUALIFICATIONS Four-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience. 5 years working in construction 5 years in a project management role Thorough knowledge of company procedures, estimating techniques, selective engineering disciplines, cost control systems, building systems and components, project scheduling methods and techniques, contractual language and ramifications are required. Ability to estimate all types of projects/contracts, ability to coordinate and supervise some group work effort, and ability to represent the company on any matters which are essential. Individual must be self-motivated, possess strong communication/interpersonal skills, and be confident in his/her ability to develop and manage the entire estimating function. Willingness to work a minimum of 40 hours per week which may involve after hours and weekends (non-standard business hours) when client needs dictate.
