Ingenium Talent, a Louisville-based professional search firm, is working with a Louisville, KY based organization in their search for an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to design and implement robust data warehousing solutions that meet our client's business needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data architecture, database design, and data integration strategies. This is a full-time role and will require being onsite at our client's Louisville location. The Data Warehouse Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our client's data warehouse solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the architecture aligns with business needs and supports data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and database design. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data warehouse architectures that support business intelligence and analytics. Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Develop and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration strategies. Optimize data warehouse performance, ensuring scalability and reliability. Establish best practices for data governance, security, and compliance. Work with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources. Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse systems to ensure high availability and performance. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in data warehousing and analytics. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Architect or similar role. Strong knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, Google BigQuery). Proficiency in ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, Apache NiFi). Experience with data modeling techniques and methodologies (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema). Familiarity with cloud data warehousing solutions and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
