Current SECRET Security Clearance Required - Colorado Springs, CO PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT unless you have this SECRET Security Clearance The Global Algorithm Architect provides technical expertise in developing and analyzing complex algorithms to support new capabilities within the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS). The role is integral to the Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program, which is essential for the operational management of missile defense operations. The architect will work closely with a team to ensure the effective implementation of algorithms and will be responsible for adhering to architectural guidance while collaborating with various stakeholders. Must Haves: An active DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance A Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Advanced degree with 6 years of experience. Experience in missile defense or related domains, with operational and technical knowledge of engagement management, track management, and sensor management. Proficiency in Data Analytics for analyzing system performance on large data sets and visualizing complex data. Proven track record of applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions. Experience with BMDS systems is highly desired. Direct experience in algorithm domains such as target tracking, classification, and prediction is highly desired. Experience in developing Algorithm Description Documents (ADDs) is desired. Technical interaction experience with government customers is required. Knowledge of software development processes and transitioning algorithms into production software is strongly desired. Understanding of Algorithm design techniques and Kinematic/Dynamic System modeling is essential. Experience working in an integrated team environment with systems, software, and specialty engineers. Experience with Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence, Optimal control, State Estimation, Statistical Analysis, Stochastic processes, Target Tracking/Correlation, and Orbital Mechanics.
