With the chance to handle 10-12 filings daily, this role promises dynamic, high-level assignments in a busy, bustling department. What You’ll Do as a Patent Prosecution Paralegal: Handle US, PCT, and foreign patent prosecution with precision and timeliness. Draft, revise, and file critical prosecution documents and keep the docket organized and up-to-date. Liaise with foreign associates and clients, ensuring seamless communication on all matters of foreign prosecution. Meet a 1500 billable hour target with approved non-billable time. What’s Needed to Succeed as a Patent Prosecution Paralegal: 4 years of experience in US, PCT, and international patent prosecution, preferably at a major or mid-size law firm or IP specialty boutique firm. A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required; a college degree and/or ABA-approved paralegal certificate is preferred. Expertise in USPTO procedural requirements is a must.
