Chief Estimator - Electrical Contractor

CHIEF ESTIMATOR My electrical contractor client in Orange County, CA is rapidly growing and has an immediate need for a Chief Estimator, as well as a Sr. Estimator. Substantial Bonus, Free Medical Plan Options for Entire Family, Auto Allowance, Gas Card, etc. DUTIES: Review specifications, drawings and attend pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate. Plan, direct and coordinate activities of a large electrical estimating department. Make sure working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures. Responsible for working with General Contractors, Sub-contractors and equipment suppliers during the bid process to obtain complete bid package information. Evaluate and review all levels of electrical estimates. Attend post-bid interviews with complete understanding of scope and pricing. Manage and train estimators. PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS: Chief Estimator experience in electrical construction. Preferred Degree in related field desirable but not necessary Design/assist experience.
