Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to lead our financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis functions. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this role will provide critical insights, actionable recommendations, and leadership to drive financial efficiency and support strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading FP&A teams, delivering accurate financial insights, and partnering with executive leadership to achieve business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial planning and strategy in collaboration with executive leadership. Partner with department leaders to align financial goals with operational objectives. Financial Planning and Budgeting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy. Lead financial forecasting and scenario analysis to anticipate risks and opportunities. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Provide timely, accurate, and actionable financial analysis and reporting to executives and stakeholders. Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate business performance and identify trends. Present insights to the executive team and board of directors, ensuring clarity and alignment on financial outcomes. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing FP&A team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Process Improvement and Technology: Drive enhancements in FP&A processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy. Leverage technology and data analytics to enhance decision-making and streamline reporting. Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CFO and other senior leaders, offering financial guidance and strategic insights. Collaborate cross-functionally to support initiatives such as M&A, capital investments, and cost optimization. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (required). MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred). Experience: 10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles. 5 years in a leadership role, managing teams and driving financial strategy. Bachelor’s degree required or 10 to 15 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
