As we scale, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and drive our upcoming Series A fundraising efforts. Position Overview: The CFO will serve as a key member of the executive team, providing strategic financial leadership and managing all financial aspects of the company. This role is pivotal in preparing and executing the company’s Series A fundraising strategy while ensuring the organization’s financial health and scalability. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives. Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive team for strategic decision-making. Fundraising and Investor Relations: Lead the preparation and execution of Series A fundraising, including investor presentations, due diligence, and negotiations. Cultivate and maintain relationships with investors, venture capital firms, and financial institutions. Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning. Monitor financial performance and key metrics, providing regular reports to the leadership team. Operational Financial Management: Establish robust financial controls, processes, and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance. Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to maintain stability. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and other legal financial requirements. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Build and lead a high-performing finance team as the company scales. Collaborate across departments to align financial goals with operational objectives. Qualifications: Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a high-growth startup environment. Demonstrated success in leading Series A (or higher) fundraising rounds. Strong understanding of financial planning, modeling, and analysis. Experience in e-mobility, automotive, or a similar industry is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
