Electrical Designer II - Staunton, VA - Hybrid Make your mark at the world’s largest HVAC company Daikin Applied is seeking an Electrical Designer II who will use computer-based tools to design parts and assemblies, create production drawings, and manage a parts list. Electrical Designer II’s will also originate, develop, or modify product designs from conception to finished manufacturing documentation assuring quality, manufacturability, functionality, serviceability, and cost has been considered. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor Location: Hybrid, Staunton, VA What You Will Do Create engineering documentation including SolidWorks, modeling, fabrication and purchase drawings that conform to Daikin standards Translate engineering/marketing intent into manufacturing documentation Work with Marketing/Sales to provide documentation for original designs or custom modifications of current products to meet weekly production schedules Exhibit a sense of design and mechanical aptitude with abstract thinking and reasoning skills. Demonstrate creative ability, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness Complete work assignments within the determined time frame and use judgement in determining assignment goals Gain knowledge of design and manufacturing practices, processes, and Daikin products. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
