Director of IT and Business Analytics

We are seeking an innovative and strategic Director of IT and Business Analytics to lead our organization in leveraging technology and data to drive operational efficiency, strategic decision-making, and business growth. This role combines leadership in IT infrastructure and business analytics with a focus on building cross-departmental collaboration and ensuring organizational resilience. The Director of IT and Business Analytics will report to the Chief Financial Officer. Key Responsibilities Analytics Leadership and Strategy Design and oversee the development of data analytics frameworks, tools, and dashboards to support organizational goals and initiatives. Lead efforts to enhance data collection, management, and governance processes to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and security. Analyze business trends, performance metrics, and operational data to guide decision-making and optimize processes. Champion the adoption of advanced analytics methodologies to improve forecasting, reporting, and strategic planning. IT Leadership and Strategy Oversee the management and maintenance of IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security. Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, technology migrations, and the implementation of new solutions. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee budgets for IT-related services and products. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and cybersecurity best practices. Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans to safeguard organizational assets. General Leadership and Strategy Build and lead a high-performing IT and analytics team, fostering a culture of professional growth and innovation. Set clear goals, expectations, and performance metrics for IT and analytics functions, aligned with organizational objectives. Promote collaboration across IT, analytics, and other departments to drive innovation, efficiency, and seamless integration of technology and data solutions. Develop and oversee business continuity strategies to minimize disruptions and maintain operational resilience. Tools and Attributes Demonstrated expertise in managing IT operations, analytics platforms, and data visualization tools. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. A proactive, strategic mindset focused on continuous improvement, innovation, and alignment with organizational priorities. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). Proven experience (7 years) in IT leadership and business analytics roles, with a track record of driving results. Deep understanding of data governance, cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, and analytics frameworks. Exceptional project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
