Job Title: Litigation Paralegal Location: Houston, TX (Onsite) Hours: 40 hours per week Experience Required: 5 years Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic legal team at a prominent AmLaw 50/100 law firm. This position will primarily focus on class action cases and will provide essential support to attorneys in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial to post-trial. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience working in litigation at an AmLaw 50/100 firm, with a deep understanding of legal procedures, case management, and related legal documentation. Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in the preparation, filing, and management of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and deposition summaries. Manage and organize case files, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to legal standards. Assist with discovery processes, including preparing and responding to requests for production, interrogatories, and subpoenas. Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and experts for interviews, depositions, and trial preparation. Prepare and maintain litigation calendars, ensuring deadlines and court dates are met. Perform legal research and assist in the preparation of trial strategies and exhibits. Draft and review legal correspondence, including client updates and internal memos. Manage and track billing for litigation-related tasks and coordinate with billing department. Ensure that case management software is updated and all documents are organized and filed appropriately. Maintain a thorough understanding of applicable court rules, procedures, and deadlines to support litigation teams effectively. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, specifically focused on class action cases. Strong proficiency in case management software and MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Extensive knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation related to litigation. Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills . Strong written and verbal communication skills , with the ability to interact professionally with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders. Paralegal certification or equivalent legal education is preferred. Experience working in an AmLaw 50/100 firm is strongly preferred.
