VDC Project Manager

Responsibilities Support BIM Consultants working in AGACAD and MWF Structsoft, including weekly meetings with consultants on various projects Knowledge or willingness to learn AGACAD Clean and clear architectural/structural CAD/Revit files for use in shop drawings Work with site supervision to deliver fully coordinated dimensional plans in CAD and/or Revit Coordinate VDC for Dusty Robotic Layout Facilitate and support weekly BIM coordination meetings for various projects Support site supervision to adjust Revit model and shop drawings to meet current field conditions Oversee panelized framing shop drawing process according to project AND manufacturing schedules Assist in developing VDC best practices, procedures, and software selection Assist in hiring and mentoring VDC Project Engineers Basic Qualifications Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline, or relevant work experience 6 years’ experience as a VDC engineer/manager, Project Manager, Project Architect or a similar role in the construction industry Knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, Revisto, Structsoft, AGACAD Knowledge and willingness to learn Panelized shop drawings and fabrication process Ability to comprehend architectural, structural drawings, RFIs, submittals, and specifications to create a fully coordinated structural concrete and framing Revit model Intensive knowledge of BIM processes and ability to coordinate with MEP trades Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and Procore Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Self-starter with the drive to pursue continued education in VDC and build a VDC department Required Qualifications: Proficient in Revit and Navisworks Preferred Qualifications: AGACAD, HSBCAD, MWF Structsoft, Mitek, Panelized Construction Experience, Framing and Concrete Experience Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off ESOP Member Benefits
