We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chemist to join our team in developing innovative skincare and cosmetic products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cosmetic chemistry and hands-on experience formulating and testing skincare, personal care, and beauty products. This is a remote freelance position with potential for long-term collaboration. Responsibilities: Formulate skincare and cosmetic products, including creams, serums, lotions, cleansers, and makeup. Research and develop new ingredients and formulations based on market trends and scientific advancements. Collaborate with our team to understand project requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Conduct stability testing, product performance evaluations, and ensure product safety. Optimize formulations for efficacy, texture, shelf life, and sensory properties. Provide detailed documentation, reports, and specifications for each formulation. Requirements: Proven experience in cosmetic or skincare formulation (minimum 3–5 years). Deep understanding of skincare ingredients, their properties, and interactions. Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, EU) and safety testing protocols. Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on time. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field. Previous experience with natural and organic formulations is a plus. Experience in product development from concept to market launch.
