If you’re passionate about making a significant impact and contributing to a dynamic team, we invite you to join us in our mission Job Description Wagstaff Law Firm is seeking a Junior Attorney to join our growing Settlement team This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate or an attorney with 1-3 years of experience, especially someone with a medical background or familiarity with medical terminology. As a Jr. Attorney, you’ll focus on writing, organization, and crafting cohesive exhibits, making this an excellent opportunity for those who prefer analytical and organizational work over litigation. This role offers invaluable experience in Mass Tort settlements, allowing you to learn from an experienced and collaborative team. Essential Job Functions Assist with drafting and organizing settlement-related legal documents, including settlement agreements and case summaries. Analyze medical records and other case-related documentation to prepare clear and cohesive exhibits. Conduct research to support settlement negotiations and case evaluations. Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure the accuracy and clarity of settlement documentation. Maintain organized records for settlement cases and track deadlines. Medical record review and organization Draft correspondence to clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders regarding settlement matters. Monitor case progress and provide regular updates to the Settlement team. Review and edit case documentation to ensure compliance with settlement agreements and legal standards. Assist with other tasks related to settlement processes as needed. Qualifications & Requirements Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 1–3 years of experience as a practicing attorney. Strong organizational and time management skills & exceptional attention to detail Interest in legal writing and organization rather than litigation. Excellent legal writing and research skills. Familiarity with medical terminology or prior experience working with medical records is a huge plus Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with a team. Eagerness to learn about Mass Tort litigation and settlements.
