Civil Engineer

Lead municipal engineering projects, including road rehabilitation, stormwater management, subdivision and land development reviews, and utility design. Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects for public sector clients. Prepare detailed engineering reports, project proposals, and budget estimates. Oversee permitting and design processes for infrastructure projects, such as roadways, drainage systems, and water/wastewater utilities. Provide technical expertise and evaluate designs for compliance with industry standards and local regulations. Represent the firm at municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings. Communicate project goals and updates effectively to stakeholders, including public officials and community members. Mentor and support junior staff, fostering professional growth and technical skill development. Supervise the work of engineering teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery. Provide on-site construction inspection and support to ensure project specifications are met. Address and resolve discrepancies during construction phases in collaboration with contractors and clients. Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (PE license required). 3–5 years of professional engineering experience, preferably in municipal or public sector projects. Strong understanding of infrastructure systems, including roadways, stormwater, and utilities.
