Senior Accounting Manager

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to join our dynamic finance team. This role requires strong leadership skills, deep accounting knowledge, and a track record of overseeing accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage complex accounting processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and reporting. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Manage the preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting. Lead and mentor a team of accountants, providing guidance and development opportunities. Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of financial documents. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to provide insights into financial performance. Support tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborate with other departments, including finance and operations, to improve processes and internal controls. Monitor cash flow, including overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions to maintain liquidity. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed by senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred). Minimum [X] years of accounting experience, with [X] years in a managerial role. Strong knowledge of GAAP, accounting principles, and financial reporting. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Experience with financial software and advanced Excel skills.
