Senior Financial Analyst

Addison Group, in partnership with our logistics company client in Rancho Cucamonga, seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. Compensation/Benefits – Salary range can increase up to $120,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client supplements base compensation with health and wellness benefits. SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze and report on outbound freight costs, including cost per mode, mile, and variances by customer and product mix Monitor freight expense targets and provide data-driven insights to reduce costs and optimize profitability Review large datasets to explain variances in forecast, budget, and prior-year performance to executives Build and maintain financial models to improve forecasting accuracy and streamline budget processes Provide strategic recommendations to improve business performance and reduce costs Support leaders with analytics and reports focused on inbound and outbound freight costs Conduct complex ad hoc analyses to support key business objectives Develop KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to track trends and identify risks for senior management Enhance dashboards, reports, and scorecards for cross-functional teams Provide ad-hoc analyses as needed SENIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Required Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance Strong oral and written communication skills
