E-Commerce Digital Designer

Position Overview: This role is responsible for the conceptualizing and production of direct-to-consumer experiences across various digital channels. You will be responsible for the design and delivery of consumer-facing marketing materials across email, ecommerce sites and digital media. Collaborating closely with the Creative, Brand and E-Commerce teams to bring together storytelling, strong visual identity by brand and a keen perspective on consumer engagement in the digital space. You have a strong understanding of responsive design, creative which connects consumers with products/brands and a perspective on how to translate those into a digital experience. Key Responsibilities: Email Marketing Design Design and build responsive email templates for promotional, lifecycle, and triggered campaigns Create segmented email content optimized for different customer journeys Design creative for A/B test variations to improve email performance Ensure consistent brand experience across all email touchpoints Develop modular email components for rapid campaign deployment Build and maintain email design system and component library E-Commerce Content Creation Design product detail page templates and content modules Create hero banners, category pages, and promotional landing pages Design size guides, ingredient charts, and product education materials Develop visual content for buying guides and how-to content Create lifestyle photography briefs and direct photo shoots Design site navigation elements and mega-menu content Digital Advertising Assets Create digital ad campaigns in multiple formats and sizes (static, GIF, video, etc.) Design and edit both branded and UGC media content for Meta (Instagram/Facebook), Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube and more Develop marketplace content for Amazon, Target, Walmart, Ulta and more Create video thumbnails and animated GIFs for product demonstrations Design retargeting assets and dynamic product ads Build cohesive campaign assets across all digital touchpoints Required Experience: 3-5 years designing for e-commerce and email Strong portfolio demonstrating email, web, and digital ad design Expert knowledge of email design constraints and best practices Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches Understanding of e-commerce conversion optimization Proficiency in designing for multiple digital platforms Technical Skills Design Tools Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) Figma for collaborative design Email design tools (Stripo, Mailchimp, Klaviyo) Basic HTML/CSS for email Platforms Shopify Plus Klaviyo or similar ESP Social media content creation tools Digital asset management systems Additional Skills Photography art direction Basic video editing Image optimization Animation and motion graphics Version control and file management Accessibility standards Essential Cross-Functional Responsibilities: Collaborate with brand teams to gain knowledge of creative baseline assets, coordinate influencer samples and campaign development. Collaborate with media and creative agency teams to ideate and execute campaigns. Collaborate with creative services team and external agencies to develop visual content needs. Coordinate with Ecommerce teams on promotional calendars and campaign results. Education/Experience Requirements: 4-year college degree A minimum of 1-2 years experience in digital marketing/paid media. Beauty/CPG experience is a plus.
