Director of Information Technology

Seeking someone with strong overall IT leadership experience both on the Business Applications and Infrastructure side. Ideal candidate will have experience oversighting a NetSuite implementation. TITLE: IT Director LOCATION: North Houston/The Woodlands area TYPE: Direct Hire WORK SCHEDULE: 5 Day On-Site SALARY: up to a $165,000 base salary (Salary could be flexible based on experience) with 30% annual bonus -Full Benefits package. SUMMARY: The IT Director will lead the technology initiatives and drive the development of innovative solutions that align with business goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, cybersecurity, and systems architecture, along with excellent leadership skills to inspire and manage a high-performing IT team. The IT Director will be responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all IT systems, including applications and infrastructure. This role requires a technical background and the ability to drive technological advancement that supports the business objectives. DUTIES: - Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization’s goals. - Collaborate with senior leadership to identify technology needs and ensure the efficient use of IT resources. - Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse IT team. - Foster a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and innovation. - Manage and optimize the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud services. - Ensure system reliability, performance, and security. - Oversee IT projects from conception to completion. - Utilize best practices to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. - Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect company data and infrastructure. Stay current on emerging threats and industry trends. - Negotiate and manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and efficient solutions. - Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring responsible allocation of resources and cost control. - Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices. - Enhance user experience by ensuring effective IT support services are in place, addressing issues in a timely manner. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the IT department to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and user satisfaction. REQUIREMENTS: - 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role. - Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and cybersecurity practices. -Experience with NetSuite. (NetSuite Implementation Exp. and knowledge of this ERP a huge plus) - Proven experience in project management and team leadership. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into technology solutions. EDUCATION: - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field - Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus.
