Episcope is now looking for an experienced, passionate Sales and Catering Manager to lead. Located at the base of 920 North Wells, DJ’s Great Room sits at the intersection of the River North, Old Town, and Gold Coast neighborhoods of Chicago. Whether it’s Monday or Saturday, early morning or late night, all-day menus cater to any occasion. Upon entering DJ's, The Anteroom boasts an expansive bar and stunning design. If you have successfully overseen operations at a multimillion-dollar, full-service restaurant; share our passion for food, music and design; and can deliver contagious hospitality to guests and staff alike, then we would like to talk to you. Summary of Position Oversee and coordinate the planning, organization, training, and leadership required to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and hospitality, food quality and consistency, and cleanliness and sanitation for our private dining business. Duties & Responsibilities · Living, breathing, and teaching the Episcope’s culture, its philosophies, and core values. · Living up to our shared belief in excellence. · Overseeing the sales of events and catering for the property. · Being responsible for execution of events and catering client. · Providing floor coverage, when necessary or appropriate, during shifts when parties are present. · Ensuring all events effectively maximize sales potential and deliver high guest satisfaction. · Maintaining safe and secure working conditions throughout all areas of the operation for the well-being of restaurant staff and the protection of restaurant assets. · Fully understanding and complying with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements. Salary · $70,000-75,000 annually plus, commission.
