Senior Administrative Assistant

Senior Administrative Assistant Our client, an elite university located in Cambridge, is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant for a full-time, permanent position. The individual in this role will support a faculty member who needs complex administrative support, and should have administrative experience, preferably in higher education. This individual must be poised, detail-oriented, and extremely efficient when handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Prior to starting, candidates will need to pass a background check. If you are interested and meet the below qualifications, please submit a copy of your resume for immediate consideration Compensation: $58-60K Hours: M-F, 8:30am-5:00pm (100% onsite) Responsibilities: Perform complex calendar and schedule management Coordinate required arrangements for meetings including booking space, organizing tech and media, providing refreshments/catering, and confirming details Attend high-level meetings to edit and help draft minutes, correspondence, and reports Plan and execute events as needed Manage office operations including supplies and equipment maintenance, mail distribution, and office communication Maintain and accurately update electronic database and website as needed Monitor invoices and expenses and process requests for payment and reimbursement Process payments, travel vouchers and any other purchases as needed Collaborate with other office and department staff to ensure timely and appropriate resolution for of all office support requests Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required 5 years of professional administrative experience required; experience in higher education preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong work ethic, personal integrity, and self-motivation Professional verbal and written communication skills Comfort communicating and interacting regularly with university officials, external organizations, and the public on a variety of matters A strong passion for higher education and a commitment to serving a diverse student population Our Commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion The Hollister Group is an equal opportunity employer.
