Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for employees in the US Provide strategic direction for payroll systems and processes, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency, particularly with Workday, ADP, and other regional platforms. Conduct regular payroll audits to ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements across all operational locations. Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies promptly while addressing employee inquiries with exceptional customer service. Administer and maintain payroll systems, ensuring data integrity, implementing upgrades, and driving continuous improvement in processes and workflows. Oversee Employer of Record (EOR) situations to ensure compliance and streamlined operations. Lead and mentor payroll team members to foster high performance and collaboration, aligning with organizational objectives. Prepare and analyze payroll reports to deliver actionable insights to senior management. Ensure confidentiality, compliance, and adherence to internal controls for all payroll-related information. Manage critical payroll processes such as calculations, payouts, and bonuses while meeting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines. Partner with business stakeholders to meet payroll needs, resolve issues, and provide detailed reports and analyses to drive decision-making. Support internal and external audits, ensuring alignment with statutory and organizational standards. Identify and implement process improvements, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset to adapt to changing business needs. Qualifications and Attributes: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: Minimum 8 years of payroll management experience, with a strong focus on US Hands-on experience with Workday, ADP, SAP, Kronos, or similar systems. 3–5 years in business analytics and financial reporting, with advanced Excel proficiency. Familiarity with complex problem-solving and employment contract management. Certifications: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar credential preferred. Skills: Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to meet critical deadlines, including during holidays. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaboration across various stakeholders. Proven ability to lead and develop teams, handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and implement effective change management. Commitment to continuous improvement and innovative problem-solving. Knowledge of payroll-related tax regulations and compliance standards.
