Senior Pharmacist with an active New York license

Responsibilities: Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, ensuring efficient daily operations and compliance with regulations. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and operational policies and procedures. Review prescriptions for accuracy, legality, and patient safety. Manage medication inventory, including accurate dispensing, labeling, and proper storage. Prepare medications with precise dosages tailored to individual patient needs. Ensure strict adherence to all applicable local, state, and federal guidelines. Oversee pharmacy licensure and regulatory compliance, serving as the primary point of contact for state boards and accrediting bodies. Maintain complete and accurate records, ensuring readiness for inspections and audits. Implement workflow improvements that enhance patient care, safety, and operational efficiency.
