Cloud Security Architect / Lead - Contractor | GCP Integration Modernization Initiative Location : Chicago Area | Duration : 12 months Company : Global Retail & Supply Chain Leader MUST BE SOLID IN GCP integrations MUST BE LOCAL TO THE CHICAGO AREA TO WORK 1-2 DAYs/Month ON SITE MUST HAVE 10 YEARS IT EXPERIENCE We’re seeking a skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our Integration Modernization initiative at Ulta. This exciting project focuses on modernizing systems and integrating cutting-edge tools like TIBCO , APIGEE , and Kafka while moving to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Key Responsibilities: Security Risk Management : Conduct assessments and mitigate vulnerabilities for integration tools like TIBCO, APIGEE, Kafka. Architecture & Design : Collaborate on secure integration architectures, ensuring data protection and authentication. Platform Security : Align security configurations with industry standards across integration tools. Monitoring & Incident Response : Set up continuous security monitoring and respond to incidents. Compliance & Auditing : Ensure adherence to GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, and other relevant standards. Documentation & Knowledge Transfer : Maintain security documentation and transfer knowledge to IT & security teams. Skills & Experience: Cloud Security Expertise (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong experience with integration platforms (TIBCO, APIGEE, Kafka). API Security knowledge (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect). Network Security expertise for hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Proficient in IAM solutions, DevSecOps , and CI/CD pipelines. 5 years in cloud security or security engineering. Experience working in large-scale, highly secure enterprise environments.
