Our Client, a leader in commercial real estate and facilities/asset management is seeking to add an HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) Manager to its team. This role will work onsite in Westborough, MA and works Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. This is a 5-month contract role that pays $54.30 per hour. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of related management experience and a good working knowledge of functional safety. Upon conversion this role offers increased compensation, an annual bonus plan, and a strong benefit package. Job Responsibilities: Infrastructure and Project Delivery Collaborating with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure alignment of safety objectives and adherence to legal requirements, and client procedures Identifying potential hazards and risks associated with the project activities, and developing strategies to mitigate them effectively. Act on behalf of the client to ensure procedures and policies are ultized based on construction activities Evaluation of contractor’s performance and advise project managers and leadership Safety Documentation Review contractor safety plans for conformance to site procedures, identify gaps, and establish mitigation Maintain accurate records of all contractor safety programs and requested documentation Culture Promote safety through all applicable responsibilities through problem solving, communication, and relationship building. Required Skills: 3 years of relevant management experience High School Diploma or GED Working knowledge of federal, state and local health and safety, and environmental regulations, including but not limited to, OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, ACGIH, and NIOSH. Knowledge of collaborative software such as ASANA, Autodesk, etc. Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles Preferred Skills: Direct experience dealing with regulatory agencies and/or compliance officers is preferred. Experience working in manufacturing, robotics, construction, and facility maintenance and management is preferred. Certification in any of the following: Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM), Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST).
