Commercial Litigation Attorney - AM LAW

I am currently working with a leading AM LAW level firm , who are actively looking to recruit a commercial litigation attorney to join their Kansas City office. Responsibilities: This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex litigation cases. Handle fact investigation, legal research, drafting discovery, preparing pleadings, taking and defending depositions and participating in mediations. Communicate with opposing counsel and clients. Appear in court for motions and pre-hearing proceedings. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a top tier accredited law school. Admitted to the Missouri state bar. 2 years of commercial litigation experience - ideally gained in a large law firm setting. Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
