Title: Senior Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination: Oversee all aspects of multifamily construction projects, from initial planning through to completion. Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are met on time. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and design teams to ensure project designs meet specifications and comply with local codes and regulations. Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage the project budget, ensuring the project remains on or under budget. Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and vendors. Review and approve project invoices and change orders, ensuring all financial aspects are documented accurately. Quality Control & Compliance: Ensure that the construction process adheres to quality standards and specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any issues or delays. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, zoning laws, and building codes. Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including subcontractors, laborers, and internal team members. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring regular updates and transparent communication throughout the project. Resolve issues and conflicts promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive work environment. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Communicate regularly with clients to update them on project status, timelines, and budget. Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, ensuring that their expectations are met. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years focused on multifamily construction. Proven experience managing large-scale multifamily projects, including new construction and renovations. Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, MS Project). Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and contracts. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
