Senior Vice President, Commercial Banking - Technology Lending Location:
Denver, CO What you'll do: Identify a target market for new business and develop a book of new business from those relationships. Negotiate, underwrite, and coordinate the closing of major and complex corporate banking loans in compliance with Bank's lending policies. Compile and analyze market research data to develop recommendations regarding products and services focused on the needs of the target market. Engage in business development activities and solicit new business based on the target market. Call and visit target customers to promote and sell Bank products and services. Develop and maintain a customer database including calls and results on all new business relationships. Interview prospective applicants and resolve questions regarding loan or credit applications. Perform pre-qualification assessments and analysis of financial condition and risk of financing requests. Gather necessary information to present financing requests to senior management or Loan Committee for approval. Coordinate processing of approved loans and ensure compliance with Bank lending policies. Maintain knowledge of financial industry status and trends. Recommend to senior management products and services experiencing less than satisfactory performance. Represent the Bank in various community functions to enhance the Bank's image and develop additional business. What you'll need: Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and ten (10) or more years of related experience and/or training; or a combination of experience and education. At least 5 years experience in the Venture Capital / Technology Lending space. Superior knowledge of related state and federal banking compliance regulations. Expert knowledge and experience in financial statement and tax return analysis. Superior knowledge of Bank lending procedures, policies, and products. Extensive knowledge in relationship management. Exceptional analytical skills. Intermediate skills in word processing and spreadsheet software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.). Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Compensation:
Salary range for new hires is generally $180,000.00 - $215,000.00 for Denver, CO. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. The role may be eligible for annual bonuses/incentives and restricted stock.
