Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer

Job Description Senior Principal Cyber Systems Engineer STEMBoard's Space & Intelligence Sector is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our diverse team at our Herndon, VA, office. The candidate will work within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team as a jack-of-all-trades, maintaining applications running in Kubernetes, working as a Linux systems administrator, and collaborating with the Information Assurance team to maintain systems documentation. This position is 100% on-site. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement. 5 years deploying and maintaining systems running on Linux or other UNIX-like systems, including at least 2 years of Linux. 5 years of software/system design and architecture. 5 years maintaining systems documentation. 3+ years of enterprise-level software development. TS/SCI with current CI poly. Additional Qualifications: Security+ or equivalent certification and willingness to serve as a privileged user supporting deployed systems testing. 2 years working with DevOps or DevSecOps teams in deploying and troubleshooting container-based systems. 2 years experience with Kubernetes (Red Hat OpenShift or another variant).
