About the Role: The Senior Software Engineer is a subject matter expert in a number of tools and technologies and will deliver state-of-the-art application design, development and support. You will be based in the Princeton, New Jersey office reporting to the IT Manager. You Will: Serve as a subject matter expert in various tools and technologies. Design, develop, and support state-of-the-art applications. Write clean, efficient, and accurate code based on specifications. Lead technical discussions on architecture, infrastructure, and frameworks. Evaluate technology choices for business value, scalability, maintainability, and project performance. Provide advice, guidance, training, and support to users, partners, vendors, and colleagues. Assist in implementing application development standards for designing, building, and maintaining applications. Ensure the use of standard languages and tools for application development. You Have: Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft .NET and .NET Core C# language Experience with JSON and XML Experience with RESTful web services Experience with web design (UI/UX) and development Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server Experience with developing reports for purposes of data analysis and business intelligence, preferably using Tableau Experience with security frameworks for user and services authorization and authentication Experience with creating and executing unit, functional, destructive and performance tests Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques Experience with software version control Experience with software development lifecycles Our Benefits: Comprehensive Healthcare Plans Paid Time Off Retirement Plans Family Care Benefits Commuter Transit Program Subscription Discounts Employee Referral Program #LI-Hybrid Business Area: Dow Jones - Print Operations Job Category: Software Product Engineering Union Status: Union role Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000 We recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.
