Pride Health is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk II to support our client’s medical facility based in Santa Ana CA. This is a 6 Month with the possibility of a contract-to-hire opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk II Location: Santa Ana CA Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Duration: 6 months Pay rate: $17.50 per hour The salary is determined by an individual's level of experience, as well as any relevant licenses and certifications they may hold. Main Duties: We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team at the Western Regional Client Supply Fulfillment Center. This position plays a vital role in the efficient and accurate processing of orders. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Receiving: Unloading incoming shipments and ensuring all items are properly checked and recorded. Pick, Pack, and Ship: Picking items for orders, packing with air pillows and tape guns, and shipping with proper labeling. Inventory Management: Performing physical inventory counts, material transfers, and ensuring accurate stock placement in storage or flow racks. Order Fulfillment: Initiating and filling orders, building boxes, and pre-packaging materials. Pallet and Box Breakdown: Using cutting tools to break down pallets and boxes, preparing items for storage and shipment. Equipment Operation: Safely operating material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks. General Warehouse Tasks: Loading trucks, offline filling of orders, labeling, cleanup, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Required Knowledge: Strong understanding of item recognition and counting. Knowledge of proper packaging techniques and safety procedures. Ability to follow safe lifting and cutting practices. Required Experience: At least two years of warehouse experience, preferably in a fulfillment or shipping role. Experience using shipping software and label printing systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Additional Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
