About the Job
The (New Grad) Electrical Engineer - Renewable Energy will support electrical engineering in offshore/onshore oil and gas and wind/solar projects during concept, pre-FEED, with a focus on the electrical architecture of the project including offshore/onshore substations, power cables. The graduate Electrical Engineer will be assigned tasks under the guidance of the other seniors of the discipline; work is periodically reviewed by the Lead Electrical Engineer or Study Manager.
You will perform engineering calculations related to electrical discipline, e.g. load analysis. Develop specifications for electrical equipment like switchboards, Transformers, and Installation material; Evaluate technical bids; review electrical layouts and prepare bulk material take-off. Assist in developing Single line diagrams, load lists, and other electrical engineering deliverables.

Responsibilities:
- Work as a graduate engineer performing engineering analysis and design calculations under the direction of a lead engineer as assigned by the Study Manager.
- Ensure the work is executed by department procedures, project schedules, and budgets.
- Develop design basis and general specification for electrical equipment under the guidance of the Lead Engineer.
- Write technical reports or prepare input for them.
- Prepare engineering input to design drawings and coordinate with the design/drafting lead in the generation of drawings.
- Review drawings produced by company procedures and/or work instructions.
- Support renewable power studies and the energy transition market.
- Attend factory acceptance tests and inspections.
- Assists in developing application software modules.

About You
We'd love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering required
- 0 - 2 years of experience in the electrical design of institutional buildings, industrial plants, commercial or residential, or renewable resource farms
- 0 - 2 years' experience in renewable power including power studies
- Have basic knowledge of Electrical Engineering related procedures and work instructions
- Ability to interact with clients, vendors, OEMs, and other stakeholders
- Basic knowledge of telecommunication systems
- Experience in developing Macros for software applications and exposure to data analytics software like Power Bi is preferred
- PE license preferable
- Knowledge of engineering standards including NEC, NEMA, IEEE, and ANSI
- Exposure to AutoCAD and/or MicroStation design a plus
- Strong written and communication skills are essential
