Responsibilities You will be responsible for ensuring IT requirements are met for delegated areas. You will coordinate IT efforts in projects and help address technical issues. You will ensure application of information security and information assurance, policies, and principles of systems. You will be evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures. You will be implementing the integration of all systems components; eg. procedures, databases, policies, principles, and practices to the systems analysis process. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing Information Technology projects; designing, developing installing, OR implementing databases; AND developing OR administering data standards, policies, and procedures. Education Additional Information The following knowledge, skills and abilities are desired but not necessarily required: 1) General cyber security knowledge to include experience with data formats and outputs from sensor and network traffic analysis tools at enterprise scale. 2) Experience with managing software development teams that leverage Agile development methodologies to include Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) for product delivery teams. 3) Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly upon hiring is desired. 4) Experience coordinating cross-functional teams within the DoD. 5) Experience with USCYBERCOM technologies as well as the cyber protection team product lines and tools that those groups use for operations. 6) Experience with cloud technologies and concepts with emphasis on data ingest, data storage, data transport within the AWS and Azure platforms. 7) Working knowledge of DoD Instruction 5000.88 Engineering of Defense Systems This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
