Mechnical Engineer ( Nuclear experience needed )

Any new hire will be required to be within commuting distance of Charlotte, NC.

(5 years $100k – $120k,  8 years $120k – $140k, 12 years $140k – $160k)

Status – US Citizen and Permanent Residents (we will not be able to provide sponsorship now or in the future)

Due to the nature of work that Client performs, candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident of the United States. No sponsorship is available.

We are looking mid to senior level, i.e. 5-12 years of experience in Mechanical engineering, supporting power generation.

This is a nuclear project supporting a power and natural gas company.

Minimum Qualifications

•       Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from a four-year accredited college or university

•       Minimum of 5, 8 to 12 years of relevant experience depending on level in the mechanical engineering field, with 2, 5, to 8 years supporting nuclear work.

•       The ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.

Preferred Qualifications

•       Power and natural gas company’s Nuclear experience

•       Master of Science Degree in mechanical or nuclear engineering preferred.

•       Professional Engineering (PE) license in US

•       Experience with fluid flow software (AFT FATHOM, PROTO-FLO, KYPIPE, or Equivalent)

• Experience with Fire Protection and Detection Systems
