Position Overview:This position supports the United States Coast Guard as a Senior Business Consultant Level III, supporting the Business and Logistics Management Support Services office. The Senior Business Consultant will be responsible for providing expert support and assistance in various aspects of government business practices. This role involves business re-engineering, business process development, business metrics development, facility and workforce planning, communications and marketing planning, and management-related issues as specified in resulting orders under the Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The ideal candidate will have a robust background in business process development, re-engineering, or management, coupled with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience. Develop and implement business metrics and performance indicators. Assist in facility and workforce planning to optimize operational efficiency. Develop and execute communications and marketing strategies. Address management-related issues and provide strategic recommendations. Conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data. Interpret and apply acquisition policy, regulations, and directives to consulting projects. Requirements Position Requirements: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in business process development, re-engineering, or management. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint). Strong research and analytical skills to handle complex technical data. Ability to read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives, and apply those interpretations fully and legally to all activities described in this statement of work (SOW). Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous experience working with the United States Coast Guard supporting CG-4, CG-6, CG-8, or CG-9. Advanced degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering. Experience working with government agencies or in a government contracting environment. Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
