Defines roles and permissions for user security access; analyzes, tests, implements, and documents system updates; creates reports; troubleshoots system problems and user training. Examples of Duties Administers and oversees the Maintenance Management Information System (MMIS) for all system users, enters, updates, and troubleshoots database; assigns security to users; and monitors system performance. Participates with internal work teams, task forces, and consultants in troubleshooting issues, streamlining operations, and process improvements related to the MMIS, prepares updated documentation resulting from changing requirements. Provides initial application support to end users. Provides support with testing, debugging, and enhancing the system, and maintains documentation and training materials for each enhancement. Performs field and acceptance tests to system upgrades/patches before implementation, logs items tested along with results for historical recordkeeping. Builds and tests queries for internal and external auditors and public disclosure requests. Provides support in maintaining system documentation and "how to" for all levels of the system administration; trains all end users on system changes to the system or processes including process improvements, upgrades, user training enhancements, etc. Serves as a backup to the Senior MMIS Administrator. Minimum Qualifications Associate's Degree in information technology, facility management, or maintenance management or a related field, or eight (8) years of equivalent industry related experience. Two years of experience working with a computer maintenance management system (CMMS). Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted to meet the education and experience requirement of this position.
