Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to join our Product department. This role is crucial in guiding the product development process and ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. The Senior Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams, including leadership, product development, marketing, sales, and customer support, to drive the product roadmap and bring new features and products to market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy: Collaborate with leadership and other stakeholders to define the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements from various stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Support, and direct customer feedback.
  • Backlog Management: Plan and prioritize the product feature backlog, development tasks, stories, epics, and themes to ensure the product focuses on delivering maximum value aligned with the product strategy.
  • Product Development: Work closely with the software engineering team to build, ship, and learn quickly from new features and products.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success departments to meet financial and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Product Launch: Bring new SaaS features and products to market, working with sales and marketing to develop campaigns and assets to meet revenue targets.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collect and organize product feedback from various sources to continuously improve the product.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on the automotive aftermarket repair industry, including its business and payment models.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience with SaaS or cloud products as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
  • Agile Methodology: In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
  • Product Delivery: Proven track record of delivering products from the ground up.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience with SMB products and payment technologies is desirable. Automotive industry experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar certification.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with product management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Aha!
  • User Experience (UX): Understanding of UX principles and design thinking.
  • Business Acumen: Strong understanding of financial metrics and business modeling.
