What You'll Do
As the Annual Giving Manager, you will play a key role in Catholic Charities' mission by engaging and retaining donors, supporting strategic fundraising efforts, and managing key projects. This hands-on role will allow you to:
- Lead Annual Campaigns: Oversee applications and reporting for our United Way partnerships and other grants, ensuring all deadlines and funding goals are met.
- Drive Donor Communications: Create engaging donor communication materials, including direct mail appeals, agency newsletters, and regular email updates.
- Plan Events: Coordinate the Good Samaritan Society donor event with the Archbishop, building community and strengthening donor relations.
- Enhance Donor Experience: Use data-driven strategies for prospect research, stewardship, and engagement to retain and acquire new donors.
- Support Digital Outreach: Oversee the online donor experience via our website and social media channels to ensure a cohesive, cross-media approach.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, especially in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
- 2-3 years of experience in communications or marketing, ideally in a nonprofit environment.
- Strong written, oral, and design communication skills.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects, timelines, and priorities.
- Ability to use creative design software, with an interest in expanding knowledge of nonprofit branding, marketing, and communications.
