With ACC Advisory, the in-house consultancy practice and inter-agency team leader, ACC offers a new and integrative service approach of best-in-class specialized resources, where strategy, technology, and creativity converge. With offices in Los Angeles and New York, ACC has rapidly built out much of its operating group and several Advisory clients, including Pepsi, T-Mobile, Fashion Nova, and Canopy Growth, among others.
Position Overview
The Business Development Assistant will provide vital support to ACC's New Business team by contributing to the development of RFP and RFI responses, conducting market research to benefit ACC and its entities, and assisting in cross-functional collaboration projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, highly organized individual with a passion for supporting impactful business initiatives, a keen creative sensibility, and a finger on the pulse of cultural and social trends.
Key Responsibilities
RFP and RFI Development Support
- Assist in the preparation and submission of RFPs and RFIs, ensuring all components meet quality and compliance standards.
- Gather, organize, and synthesize input from various stakeholders to create compelling, creative, and cohesive proposals.
- Support the creation of templates, libraries, and standard responses to streamline the RFP/RFI process.
- Conduct research on industry trends, market opportunities, and competitive landscapes to inform business development strategies.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on research findings to support ACC and its entities.
- Track emerging cultural, social, and marketing trends to help ACC identify opportunities to innovate and stay ahead of the curve.
- Maintain a centralized repository of market intelligence resources for easy access and sharing across teams.
- Contribute creative ideas to new business pitches, campaigns, and cross-entity initiatives.
- Monitor social media trends, viral campaigns, and pop culture movements to identify how they can influence business development strategies.
- Support the creation of social content concepts that align with ACC's brand and resonate with current audiences.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of cross-entity collaboration projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Track progress, maintain schedules, and facilitate communication among teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-ups for collaboration initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including project timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.
- Provide administrative support to the Business Development Manager, such as scheduling meetings and organizing files.
- Coordinate and manage travel arrangements, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportation, ensuring schedules and budgets align with organizational needs and policies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and tools used by the business development team.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, creative, communications, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a business development, marketing, or administrative role, within a holding company or agency environment.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
- A creative mindset, with the ability to ideate and contribute innovative concepts for campaigns and projects.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM and project management tools.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, emerging content trends, and the digital marketing landscape.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A passion for culture, creativity, and staying informed on current social and industry trends.

Salary Description
$50,000 - $65,000 annually
