Description:
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Apprentice Carpenters for projects located in Grinnell, IA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $19-25/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Carpenter eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!
Job Scope:
- Installing doors, windows and sub flooring
- Installing steel or wood covering on outer walls and roofs of buildings
- Guide structural steel members by using straps and/or ropes
- Set up hoisting/crane equipment for raising and placing structural steel
- Erecting scaffolding
- Apply caulking compounds by hand or with caulking gun to seal crevices
- Disassemble building framing
- Must have hand tools and standard PPE
