Job Summary:

We're searching for a highly motivated and experienced Specialty Sales Manager to lead our charge into the wild world of specialty retail. You'll be responsible for managing a team of independent sales representatives, driving sales growth, and ensuring Pit Viper dominates the shelves of action sports retailers, outdoor outfitters, specialty sunglass stores, moto shops, and anywhere else adventure seekers roam.

Requirements

  • Lead and manage a team of independent sales representatives across various territories, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve sales goals.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies for the specialty retail channel, identifying key accounts and opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at specialty retailers.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales forecasts and reports, providing valuable insights to management.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment with brand strategy and product launches.
  • Develop and execute effective retail marketing initiatives to drive sell-through and increase brand visibility.
  • Attend industry trade shows and events to represent Pit Viper and network with key partners.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging retail channels.
  • Embrace and embody the Pit Viper spirit of adventure, irreverence, and uncompromising quality.
Qualifications:
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the action sports, outdoor, or consumer goods industry.
  • Experience managing independent sales representatives and driving sales growth through a distributed team.
  • Strong understanding of the specialty retail landscape and key account management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in sales forecasting, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to travel.
