AV Technicians (ON-SITE / LOS ANGELES)

This is a temporary on-site role for an AV Tech. The AV Tech will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with audio visual (AV) systems, troubleshooting, video conferencing, lighting, and projectors. The AV Tech will ensure the smooth operation and setup of AV equipment, as well as provide technical support during events. The AV Tech will work alongside the Supervisor, Event Services, AV Sales Manager, and hospitality and events teams to manage live event services for the IT-managed spaces including IT events.

Rate for this position is $30 -34 based on seniority.

This role is on-site 5 days a week (40 hours a week) and schedule can fluctuate based on events from a schedule of 6 AM - 11 PM, Monday - Sunday.

Required Skills & Experience

Experience: 2-3 years in AV technology within film, TV production, hospitality, or similar fields.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Macs and PCs, including familiarity with MAC products, PowerPoint, basic AV packages, and mirroring settings on Keynote.
Ability to operate a two-way radio effectively.
Specialized experience in Camera, Lighting, Video Operations, and Audio Engineering

At least 2 years of production experience in hotels, churches, universities, or entertainment venues preferred.
Internship experience at television stations or production companies is beneficial.
Familiarity with all aspects of event management from conferences to remote productions.
Autonomous work capability as well as effective teamwork skills.
Proficient in troubleshooting common AV issues, including hardware/software problems and network systems challenges.
