Job Summary:
creative werks partners with Top 100 food brands to bring their products to market through our design, co-packing and manufacturing services. The Sales Account Manager is directly responsible for maturing client revenue, relationships and their programs' successes by forging business relationships at all levels within a client's organization, cultivating organic account growth and generating new business solutions with top-level client service.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Drive and manage account strategy on a portfolio of roughly $20-$40+ million account portfolio that includes growing legacy programs and attracting new business opportunities
- Serve as relationship owner to designated accounts; build and grow client relationships across levels and departments, proposing solutions that exceed client expectations ensuring their continued success
- Build a deep, foundational understanding of creative werks' capabilities and product offerings to capitalize on upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Lead client contract negotiations working to get the best terms for creative werks while continuing to best serve the client
- Monitor and manage client performance metrics, measurement strategies, performance trends and support stakeholders with necessary report outs
- Collaborate internally with Creative, Finance, Marketing, Sales and Operations to provide compelling, strategic and opportunistic deliverables for growth execution and wins in new business
- Partner closely with Project Management team to set team up for success - ensuring a clean transition from Sales to operational execution
- Own client forecast and annual budget; build strategy to deliver against annual budgets and expansion targets
- Leverage HubSpot CRM to track deal progress as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator and trade organization connections to research key decision-makers with assigned account base
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Sound proficiencies in CRMs, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Exceptional presentation, written and verbal skills with the ability to articulate objectives and capabilities in virtual or in-person settings
- Self-starter, persistent and comfortable working autonomously and with teams to move business and projects forward
- Experiences setting revenue targets with proven capabilities of meeting or exceeding goals
- Understand contract guardrails and know when to escalate internally and with client
- Ambitious, driven, and enthusiastic about food and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry
- Passion for sales and driven to grow assigned accounts/prospects
- Curiosity and an appetite for to learn the business and improve the sales process
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Economics, Marketing or related discipline
- 5-7+ Years of Sales and/or Account Management experience
- Background in CPG, food or manufacturing a plus

The approved annualized base compensation range for this role is established at $100,000 - $135,000. Final offer amounts will be determined based on candidate skills, qualifications, experience and domain expertise
