Position Summary
Zeni is looking for an equally ambitious and thoughtful individual to manage a team of talented BDRs. With a current team size of 16 and growing, this is a role fit for someone who has a strong desire to lead a team to sales success. This person has a knack for figuring out how to motivate at the individual level while maintaining a cohesive team environment. This person will also thrive in an environment where decisions are made and acted upon quickly and where there is a pull toward not just maintaining but building out programs, processes and an overall sales organization.
BDR Manager Job Description
- Work cross-departmentally with Marketing & Partnerships to customize sequences and approach leads through Account Based Marketing strategies
- Achieve and consistently hit monthly and quarterly BDR team goals based on Sales Qualified Opportunities and other sales initiatives
- Develop and maintain BDR best practices, pitches, and objection handling
- Represent the Business Development Organization on the sales leadership team by ensuring accurate and complete information is captured in CRMs
- Work with Revenue Operations and Marketing to create an industry leading demand engine
- Predictably meet pipeline goals from inbound and outbound prospecting activities
- Work closely with sales leadership to show progress against team goals using existing and your own KPIs;
- Manage the qualification process for inbound and outbound prospects to generate qualified opportunities
- Develop and maintain BDR best practices, pitches, and objection handling and all training materials to further develop the BDRs
- Coach reps to achieve targets, create accurate reporting
- Train other members of the BDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
- Ensure BDR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s and through call coaching
- Plan for hiring and onboarding new BDRs
- Work closely with the Marketing team to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns
- Work closely with BDR Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
- Work closely with Sales Director and BDR Director, to identify areas of improvement for the BDR Teams
- Accurately forecasts weekly, monthly, quarterly attainment
Salary Range: $90k - $125k base with OTE range of $130k-$180k depending on experience
