Job Summary
Champlain College Online (CCO) seeks an Email Marketing Specialist to support our digital marketing and student communications initiatives. In this role, you will execute email campaigns, maintain our marketing automation systems, and help optimize our student communication strategies.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for implementing email marketing campaigns and maintaining our marketing automation platforms. You will work collaboratively with our marketing and enrollment management teams and other departments to ensure effective communication with prospective and current students.

Job Summary

You will work collaboratively with our marketing and enrollment management teams and other departments to ensure effective communication with prospective and current students.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Execute email marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including Pardot, Salesforce, Emma and TargetX
- Create and update email templates using HTML/CSS
- Track and report on email and digital marketing metrics, e.g. open rates, CTRs, domain spam rates
- Set up and maintain automated email workflows and nurture campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular performance reports
- Maintain accurate segmentation and contact lists
- Support the communications audit and student journey mapping process
- Help implement brand standards across email communications
- Assist with special marketing initiatives, including corporate partnership communications and promotional campaigns
- Maintain marketing automation platforms and documentation, e.g. optimizing the opt-out process
- Assist key stakeholders with technical setup and promotion of online webinars and virtual events, creating and managing email communications for event promotion and registration
Requirements and Qualifications
- Demonstrated skill with written communications, HTML, and email marketing strategies Good communication and collaboration skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Self-starter.
- At least 5 years of marketing automation experience required; Pardot or TargetX experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of CRM experience required; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required
- Requires work on a comuter screen for extended periods of time
- Attend virtual meetings.
- Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a dedicated home office.
