Event Coordinator

This role is responsible for planning, managing, and executing RV shows and on-lot events that enhance customer engagement and drive sales. This role requires someone with excellent event planning, coordination, and communication skills, who can work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and external vendors to ensure smooth execution of all events.
Hybrid Position - Must be located in Jacksonville, FL
Schedule: In-office 3 days; Monday Tuesday and Thursday
Must be willing to travel; 30% - 40% Travel

- Essential Job Functions
- Event Planning and Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of RV shows and on-lot events, including vendor coordination, venue selection, logistics management, and budget tracking.
- Vendor and Partner Relations: Manage relationships with event vendors, exhibitors, and sponsors, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned and event needs are met.
- Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop event promotional strategies, including social media, email campaigns, and in-store marketing to maximize attendance and awareness.
- Logistics Management: Handle all logistical aspects of events, including equipment rentals, booth setup, signage, food and beverage, and transportation. Ensure all aspects are on time and on budget.
- Onsite Event Management: Serve as the primary point of contact during events, overseeing setup, execution, and teardown. Ensure a seamless experience for attendees and exhibitors.
- Customer Engagement: Create memorable customer experiences by coordinating activities, seminars, and giveaways that attract and engage attendees, while fostering strong customer relationships.
- Post-Event Analysis: Analyze the success of each event, gathering feedback from customers, staff, and vendors. Provide post-event reports that include insights into attendance, sales impact, and areas for improvement.
- Budget Management: Work within allocated budgets to plan events, keeping a clear record of expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or another related field or equivalent experience required.
- Proven experience in event planning, preferably with a focus on trade shows, exhibitions, or on-lot events.
- Experience:
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendors, internal teams, and external partners.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing event conditions or challenges.
- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-centric mindset.
- Abilities:
