Position description

Junior Specialist- Fujimori Lab

Department of Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology

University of California, San Francisco

The appointed individual will be required to accurately document all experiments and will need to have excellent written and verbal communications. Candidates interested in obtaining research experience prior to applying to graduate school and those who prefer long term technician position are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in biochemistry, chemistry, chemical biology or a related field or at least four years of research experience.
  • Excellent ability to document experiments and to communicate (written and verbal)
  • Prior research experience
  • Ability to work as a member of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team
  • Motivation for scientific research and strong work ethics
  • Candidates must meet the required qualifications at the time of appointment.
  • Candidate's CV/cover must state required qualifications (or if pending) upon submission.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Research experience in chemical biology, biochemistry or chemistry
  • One year of research experience in academia or industry
