We're looking for a Senior Product Owner to join our ever-evolving team to help us unleash the potential of every business. The ideal candidate will be an experienced individual contributor with a broad understanding of their area of expertise. Resolves complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge and skills. Exercises judgment in decision making, determines approach, methods and procedures to use on new assignments. Prioritizes features and breaks down requirements into sprints for engineering delivery. Validates acceptance criteria for engineering work packages and accepts user stories. Determines readiness for production. Are you ready to make your mark? Then you sound like a Worldpayer. What you'll own Product strategy, market, industry, and client goals. Articulates product vision and user stories in a manner clearly understandable to development teams. Trains and educates stakeholders to enhance their data knowledge and competencies to make them self-sufficient in owning and managing their data/systems. Monitors the development progress and provides updates to stakeholders, as requested. Applies Agile methods and processes to promote a disciplined project management process that encourages frequent inspection and adaptation of ongoing work product. Leads planning and review meetings to communicate feedback on development achievements. Participates in and prepares for Program Increment Planning. Participates in team demos, retros, and Inspect and Adapt. Collaborates with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications. Manages and prioritizes the backlog, breaking down epics into detailed features and user stories. Refines user stories with Scrum teams including writing user stories, establishing acceptance criteria and accepting user stories. Reviews and provides feedback on test plans to ensure application changes meet acceptance criteria. Creates Sprint Release Plans with input from development teams. What you bring Bachelor's degree in STEM related program or relevant professional experiences. Proven experience reading and providing specifications for APIs Experience in designing innovative solutions with system architects, optimizing processes, and aligning improvements with strategic goals Ability to understand the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Strong negotiation, organization, management, and people skills Ability to collaborate with cross-functional resources including off-shore teams and work well in a distributed environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization (e.g., executive, management, individual contributors) Positive outlook, strong work ethic, and responsive to internal and external clients and contacts Extensive experience in creating and maintaining detailed project documentati n Testing experience to ensure solutions meet requirements and quality standards
