Restoration Estimators work with owners, adjusters, and Project Managers after traumatic events such as a fire or flood to clean up and repair damage to residential and commercial property. As a RE, you will be on scene after property disasters to accurately scope projects and sign work for our production teams to complete. You will build relationships with insurance professionals and communicate with property owners the expectations to build the structure back to its original form.

Position Responsibilities:
• Serving as First Point of Contact with home and property owners to conduct onsite inspections and scope generation.
• Analyzing estimation costs by examining a product
• Researching what materials and inventory might be needed for the restoration and collecting this research to give an accurate estimation.
• Working hand in hand with mitigation and contents department, as needed, to collect pertinent data as it relates to job scope and customer needs
• Working hand in hand with ERC, adjuster, and any other applicable parties to coordinate emergency response efforts
• Creating a well-rounded estimate within carrier required time frame
• Directing clients through the claim process and explaining what services and options will best achieve the goal of restoring the structure to pre-loss conditions.
• Guiding, advising, and providing estimates for clients requesting property upgrades
• Estimating each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility software as needed.
• Working closely with insured and interested parties to obtain agreement and close opportunity.
• Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
• Communicating and documenting any change orders and insurance supplements.
• Building and maintaining business relationships with insurance adjusters, brokers, and TPA's.
• Properly documenting jobs in RMS for clear communication across all divisions
• Communicating with customers and other members of the team via email, phone, and in person
• Responsibility for adhering to the Health & Safety Program.
• Meet Net Promoter Score of minimum monthly average of 70.

Before You Can Take the Field: Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
