The Talent Acquisition Specialist I (TAS I) is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, supporting sourcing, screening, and scheduling of candidates for high-volume positions across various lines of business and locations. As a brand ambassador, they focus on hiring outstanding talent that aligns with our culture of digital banking, financial wellness, and member empowerment.
The TAS I plays a key role in ensuring that recruitment processes adhere to HR policies and procedures, while helping to streamline and meet the hiring needs of the business. They collaborate closely with internal teams to provide an efficient, compliant, and positive experience for both hiring managers and candidates.
Additionally, this role involves working with and developing expertise in recruitment AI tools to enhance and optimize hiring practices, ensuring a seamless candidate experience that aligns with our overall member experience goals.
What you will do here:
High-Volume Recruiting: Execute the full cycle recruiting process for multiple locations, filling high-volume roles across various shifts and positions, including but not limited to:
Sourcing & Screening: Source internal and external candidates using various resources and/or methods, including posting positions in multiple places, participating in job fairs/hiring events, mining resumes from job boards, sourcing passive candidates on LinkedIn, and identifying other creative strategies to attract talent.
Job Posting & Advertising: Assist in creating and posting engaging job advertisements across multiple platforms, tailored to attract candidates for retail and contact center positions.
Recruitment AI Tools: Utilize and leverage recruitment AI tools and technologies to streamline sourcing, screening, and candidate management processes, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
Recruitment Coordination: Coordinate interview scheduling, ensure timely communication with candidates, and assist with interview preparation and feedback collection. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, provide recruitment support, and ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process for both retail and contact center roles.
Candidate Experience: Ensure a seamless candidate experience that aligns with our overall member experience goals.
Adherence to Policies & Procedures: Ensure recruitment efforts follow company policies and industry best practices, supporting audits and compliance with legal and procedural guidelines on the hiring process as needed.
Onboarding Assistance: Provide support to the HR team during the onboarding process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, and new hires are set up for success.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
What you will need:
High School Diploma or Ged required.
Bachelor's degree in human resources management or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
2+ years' experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or related HR functions required.
1+ years ' experience in high volume recruiting required.
Demonstrated ability to efficiently manage heavy requisition load, work independently, and prioritize effectively required.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail required.
Ability to leverage behavioral based interviewing techniques required.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build positive relationships with candidates and stakeholders required.
Ability to advise, influence, and make sound judgment calls required.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills required.
Solid negotiation skills required.
Flexible and demonstrates objectivity in responding to business needs required.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office suite required.
Proficiency in using web-based job boards and leveraging social media required.
Recruitment or HR Certifications preferred.
