Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of new air handling unit products from concept to production, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.
- Identify and implement product enhancements through research and feedback, improving performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize CAD and simulation tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and engineering drawings for new products and updates.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to develop prototypes and conduct thorough testing and validation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and procurement, to streamline the product development process.
- Stay current with industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance product offerings.
- Develop and maintain project timelines, ensuring on-time delivery of milestones and successful product launches.
- Work with quality assurance teams to address product quality issues and implement necessary design improvements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in product development within the HVAC industry or a related field.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration concepts and air handling systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, CFD).
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems, thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Proven ability to lead projects and/or manage small engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
